REVISED POST WITH INSTRUCTIONS
Here’s another card we made at my Girl’s Day/Night Out class this month. Gotta LOVE those test tubes at Halloween time!

I CASED the card pattern from Sharon Rivera, and her blog/card can be found HERE. However, I had to alter the cuts for the test tubes so it would fit the tubes I had. I purchased my test tubes from SKS Bottle & Packaging, Inc. (Size: 3/4″ x 6″)

I also did another CASE on this card! The center circle was CASED from a COOL swap I got at Convention. The gal who made the card is Catherine Sanders. Unfortunately she doesn’t have a blog (yet???) but her card can be seen by Stampin’ Up demonstrators over on Stampin’ Connection. I loved how she arranged the circles, so I incorporated that part of her card onto this card.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Wicked Cool
Paper: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Test Tube, Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon (Retired), Candy Corn, Coluzzle (2 7/8″ Circle), 1 1/4″/1″/3/4″ Circle Punches, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

The black cardstock is cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Score at 3 1/2″, 4 1/4″ and 5″ on the long side of the card (8 1/2″ side).Fold the card in half (on the 4 1/4″ score) as pictured below. Then make 4 small slits from the fold in the card to the score line. I started about 3/4″ from each end, and then cut about 3/4″ from that first cut. Then just slide the tube down the cylinders that it makes.
